Imitate cracked layers of varnish on old items by applying this crackle varnish system which becomes waterproof after drying. To create a layer of surface cracks apply component 1 to the surface of the object already decorated. Once dried, apply component two the second varnish layer will crack as it dries. To emphasis the cracks add various antique pastes to make the cracks more visible. The thicker the layers the larger the cracks and the brush strokes will show up the different patterns.
